00:00Formally, the Quezon City Police District or QCPD filed a complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte

00:07and this happened a few years ago following a confrontation between the Vice President and the local authorities

00:13in the detainment of his chief of staff.

00:16This is what Ryan Lesigues reported.

00:20So, this means that nobody is above the law.

00:25The Quezon City Police District or QCPD filed a complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte

00:32and his other accomplices.

00:34A few days ago, QCPD Acting District Director, Police Colonel Melecio Buslig, Jr.

00:43and the complainant of the case, Lieutenant Colonel Van Jason Villamor,

00:47the chief of QCPD Medical and Dental Clinic, Villamor, who is in the viral video of Dinuro and Duterte's assault,

00:55after the door of his ambulance was closed on Saturday.

00:59The complaint was based on the tension in the House of Representatives and Veterans Memorial Medical Center

01:06regarding the detainment of Attorney Zulaika Lopez, the chief of staff of the Vice President.

01:12Among the cases that were filed were grave coercion, direct assault, and disobedience to authority.

01:19We did not expect that the situation would be like that when we were at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

01:29QCPD is hoping that the court will stop their complaint.

01:34The Vice President is an impeachable officer.

01:37He is not, she is not immune from suit based on several jurisprudence.

01:43There are no express provision from the Constitution and from the statutes, particularly saying that the Vice President is immune.

01:52According to PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo, the PNP will not pass the incident.

02:00Fajardo insisted that there was a slight commotion regarding the transfer

02:04because of the second president's interference in the orders of the lawmakers who brought it to the VMMC.

02:10The request was first submitted by PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Maravil

02:16to Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief General Romeo Brunner Jr.

02:19to get the approval of the Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group

02:24who accused Atty. Lopez of transferring it from the VMMC to the St. Luke's Medical Center.

02:32The Chief of the PNP was also given the approval that any disobedience to authority

02:37is clearly a violation of the integrity of the democratic institutions of the law.

02:43Maravil asked the public to conduct a fair and thorough investigation.
