00:00So this is Yamaha's new CDC-603 compact disc player, multi-changer.
00:06And it's a pretty cool machine, but the coolest feature of all, probably, is the ability to do this while you're playing one of the five discs.
00:13And that is use the play exchange mode, which opens the drawer.
00:19The music's still playing. The reason you can't hear it is because of copyright reasons.
00:23But what I can do now is change over any of the four discs, or indeed all of the four discs,
00:29while that fifth disc is actually playing.
00:33Simply do that.
00:36Press the play exchange button again, as opposed to the normal eject button, which would stop play.
00:40That disc's still playing.
00:43And now I can go and select any of the other four discs.
00:49Takes a couple of seconds or so to load up while the carousel moves.
00:57And any second now it should be starting to play that disc, which it is now.
01:04And obviously you can go to any track on that disc, either using the front two buttons or the remote control.
01:13And that disc's now playing. That's disc number three.
01:17If you eject the mechanism, you have access to the other discs.
01:22Disc number three at the top here, numbered, is obviously inside the machine.
01:26You've got access to discs two, one, five and four.
01:31And these can easily be changed over.
01:33So that has to be probably the neatest feature.
01:37You can simply load it with five CDs and let it play for five or six hours continuously.
