00:26So, unless Jayne Daniels takes a step back,
00:30what are the odds that Caleb becomes a top ten quarterback?
00:34Now, that being said, the thing that's in the Bears' favor and in Caleb's favor is,
00:41last year I thought CJ Stroud had the best rookie season I've ever seen for
00:46a quarterback, ever.
00:48I mean, to lead the NFL in yards passing per game and
00:52touchdown interception ratio, only been done two other times.
00:56Tom Brady and Joe Montana, and then CJ Stroud last year as a rookie.
01:01I also thought Bryce Young was clearly the worst quarterback in the NFL last year.
01:07And now this year, I don't know, they kind of were about similar,
01:11they kind of were even.
01:12So, while I would take Jayne Daniels ten times out of ten over Caleb Williams,
01:17the reality is, let's say Jayne Daniels is, I'm just throwing numbers out there.
01:22The eighth best quarterback in the NFL and Caleb's 23rd,
01:25I'm just throwing it out there.
01:27That's much less ground to make up than Stroud being like fifth last year and
01:33Bryce Young being 32nd.
01:36And now both those guys might be around 15th or
01:3916th with the way they played this year.
01:41So, it can happen with the right coaching, but
01:45two things had to happen for that to be the case, right?
01:49Stroud, CJ Stroud had to really take a step back and
01:53Bryce Young had to really take a step forward.
01:56That would have to be the case again for
01:58Caleb Williams to be a better quarterback than Jayne Daniels next year.
