00:00In spite of the lack of equipment and experience,

00:03a film was made about the youth in Hingyon, Ifugao

00:06to address the issues in the society and to address them.

00:13of the Philippine Information Agency Cordillera.

00:18Different challenges in the society

00:21provoked some youth

00:23to make a local film in Hingyon, Ifugao.

00:26In spite of the lack of experience and equipment,

00:29some local artists pursued

00:31to produce a film

00:33that shows the challenges of love,

00:36solidarity with the family, and issues in the society,

00:39especially to the youth.

00:41After more than two years,

00:43they finished the first locally produced film

00:47in the town of Pinamagatang,

00:49The Revelation, by Apun Ina.

00:51We came up with this idea

00:54to show that this is true

00:57and how are we going to address it in the community.

01:00As long as our films have an impact.

01:05The production team insisted

01:07that by showing the film

01:09the issues in the society,

01:11it can give action to those in need.

01:14It depicts issues that are rampant among the young generation

01:18which includes early pregnancy, early marriage,

01:22gender identity crisis, and fighting poverty.

01:26The production of the film was a success

01:29with the help of Kapoy Creatives of Batch 2022,

01:32Association of Working Indigenous Hingyon Youth,

01:35and Hingyon TV,

01:36supported by Pamalaang Lokal.

01:39The group aimed to make another film

01:43that is centered on their advocacy

01:45for the youth,

01:47including mental health awareness

01:49and other challenges in society.
