00:00Mike Vrabel, in one of the worst-kept secrets ever, like you knew he was going to, as soon
00:06as they fired Mayo, that he was going to be the new head coach, well, that was officially
00:09announced yesterday.
00:10They did their press conference just a little while ago, so tomorrow we'll probably have
00:13some of that.
00:15And it really is a joke, Scotty, because we've talked about this, these rules that they have,
00:22Rooney Rule, et cetera.
00:24What a scam that was, that they had to go do all these interviews.
00:29Byron left, which, Pap Hamilton, they were hiring Vrabel the entire time.
00:34As soon as, the second they fired Mayo, Kraft would have brought him in like an hour later
00:40if they would have allowed him to, but he had to do all these interviews just to not
00:44get fined by the league or whatever.
00:46Let's just stop with it.
00:47Stop with it.
00:48It's a joke rule.
00:49I mean, let's face facts, Kraft screwed the black guy to hire his white friend.
00:56Well, he was, he's going to probably be bringing-
00:59That is exactly what happened.
01:02The guy wasn't, he didn't do a very good job his first year.
01:05I don't think there's not so much a way-
01:07You can't get a guy coach for four or five years when you get hired and you expect to
01:11be there for at least two years.
01:13I agree.
01:14But I think that, like I said to you last week, I think that last year, if he didn't
01:18have that in that guy's cut, he would have hired Vrabel.
01:20He loves Vrabel.
01:21Vrabel has experience.
01:22Vrabel's done this.
01:23Whatever.
01:24Patriot.
01:25It just, the whole thing was a bit of a sham, honestly.
01:28And now he may bring Josh McDaniels back to New England as well as the offensive coordinator.
01:34He won't be getting any more head coaching jobs, I would imagine.
01:38How stale is that?
01:40Is that idea?
01:42Yeah.
01:43I mean, I guess you think he's been there.
01:48He can work with May, I suppose.
01:51He worked with Brady, so that's the natural transition.
01:55The first year that he was there with the Mack Jones, he wasn't awful.
02:00Jones went downhill when McDaniels left.
02:02I guess that that's what they look at with all of those things.
02:06So you've got to have as many guys with New England ties as possible on the staff.
02:11And that's what they are going to do.
