00:30Edwin travels every day from Novaliches, Quezon City to his work in Katipunan Avenue.

00:37His work starts at 7.30 in the morning.

00:39So to avoid traffic and not be late for work, he leaves home at 4 in the early morning.

00:49So it's very difficult, especially now that there's construction.

00:55If it's rush hour in the afternoon, it's about one and a half hours of traffic.

01:44To fix the traffic, the Department of Transportation made diversion roads

01:49to the affected southbound lane and northbound lane of the closed area.

01:53There are also alternative routes that motorists can take.

01:57After 4 a.m. earlier, the traffic was still wide.

02:01There were also additional vehicles on the road at 5 a.m. because it's rush hour.

02:07According to the Transportation Department, 20% of the construction of the subway project

02:12is expected to be fully operational by 2029.
