00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the Agriculture Department that the farmers will not be left behind during the planting season.

00:08Meanwhile, the President was able to talk to Vice President Kamala Harris on the phone later in the evening.

00:22President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. alerted the Department of Agriculture that the farmers will not be left behind during the planting season.

00:32The President made the announcement when he was asked by the Economic Manager in Malacanang.

00:37The Directive of the Chief Executive is to ensure that no one will be left behind during the planting season.

00:42Aside from the DA, the President also has an order regarding this in the DBM.

00:47The Department of Agriculture has an order to ensure budgetary support for the agriculture sector.

00:54The Department of Agriculture has announced that they will provide sufficient assistance to the farmers,

01:00such as providing fertilizer, good seeds, as well as the introduction of technology assistance.

01:07The DA said that the support will be given to the farmers so that they can plant at the right time and benefit from the potential of the crop.

01:17Meanwhile, the President was able to talk to Vice President Kamala Harris.

01:25At 9.30 p.m. later in the evening, a phone call conversation was expected between the President and the outgoing U.S. Vice President.

01:33On November 20, 2023, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Harris met on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Conference or APEC.

01:44They discussed the situation in the West Philippine Sea and the Philippines' steps to maintain peace in the region.

01:53On November 2022, Vice President Harris visited the Philippines and gave a courtesy call to President Marcos in Malacanang.
