00:13Water issues in California have been on Trump's radar for years.

00:18The reason you have no water is because Gavin Newsom didn't want to do it.

00:23You could revert water up into the hills where you have all the dead forests,

00:26where the forests are so brittle, land would be damp.

00:30Today, Trump wrote, Governor Gavin Newsom refused to sign the Water Restoration Declaration,

00:36put before him, that would have allowed millions of gallons of water from excess

00:40rain and snowmelt from the north to flow daily into many parts of California,

00:43including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way.

00:48Newsom's office counters, there is no such document as the Water Restoration Declaration.

00:54That is pure fiction. The governor is focused on protecting people,

00:57not playing politics, and making sure firefighters have all the resources they need.

01:02Vice President Harris' neighborhood was ordered evacuated last night, but nobody was home.

01:07President Biden has approved a major disaster declaration so survivors can

01:11access resources immediately. The White House says he is in touch with local officials,

01:16and during a visit to a Santa Monica fire station,
