01:59But the fact-checkers have just been too politically biased.

02:02So over the next couple of months, we're going to phase in a more comprehensive community notes system.

02:07It's still unclear what will happen if too many users believe what's true and what's not.

02:15One of the people I talked to said that this is the basis of which one is fake and which one is true.

02:25That's why a Global Digital Media professor is concerned.

02:29It's effective for him if a fact-checker will say which one is fake

02:35instead of relying on users that he can manipulate.

02:39Usually, attack posts,

02:43where a politician is attacking his opponent.

02:47And these could be influencers.

02:49So it can be labeled as false or misleading by third-party fact-checkers here in the Philippines.

02:58how can there be proper community notes on posts that have a lot of supporters?

03:05Disinformation actors and disinfo for higher actors will thrive.

03:10So there are a lot of influencers who want to earn money because it's election season.

03:16Even though Facebook stopped fact-checking in the US,

03:20Rappler is already dismayed.

03:22It's one of its fact-checking partners in the Philippines.

03:25They are also confused as to where Facebook destroyed the fact-checkers.
