00:00The Department of Migrant Workers is studying who should be responsible for the wrongful return of an OFW from Kuwait.
00:08Instead of returning the OFW's building to the country,
00:12the building of his co-worker from Nepal arrived to his family.
00:17Witness, Marie Zumali.
00:19Why? Why?
00:31Once upon a time, brothers and sisters,
00:34the OFW from Kuwait arrived with the name of their mother, Jenny Alvarado.
00:39But it seems that they were separated twice
00:42because when the OFW opened the door of the funeral home where one of the OFW was supposed to be buried.
00:47My mother was not the OFW!
00:53When the OFW opened the door, we were surprised that it was not our mother.
00:58The Department of Migrant Workers' Secretary, Hans Leo Kakdak, asked Jenny's family what happened.
01:03As it is, I take full responsibility.
01:06Because I was the one who said that Jenny might have caused the mistake.
01:14But that said, we are also carefully studying legally the matter on whether there are liabilities involved
01:22with respect to the shipping of the human remains.
01:26The worst part is the work of Jenny, a Nepali, who suffocated her co-worker and her two Sri Lankan co-workers.
01:34According to the victim's family, their father told them that Jenny died due to suffocation following the funeral.
01:42But if this is the cause of death of Jenny and her co-workers,
01:45why are there so many Nepali wounds and bruises that were brought home?
01:49Her nails were removed.
01:51And in the video, her hand was tied.
01:53She had bloody wounds.
01:57You can see that her neck is really violet.
02:02You can't imagine if she was stabbed or what.
02:06And on her feet, you can also see the bruises.
02:12I can't believe that she died of suffocation.
02:16The family decided to form a group of witnesses or a group of D.H.
02:20in the middle of the island.
02:21There is foul play in the death of Jenny and her other co-workers.
02:25That is why they are calling on the government to investigate the incident.
02:29The guilty should be held accountable and justice should be given to the victims.
02:33I was in pain.
02:38She died.
02:39When we got home, we had a get-together.
02:42And that was our get-together.
02:47We couldn't be together anymore.
02:50I was so angry.
02:55It hurts us.
02:57We can't accept that this is what will happen.
03:01She is like our eldest daughter.
03:07On Thursday, Jenny's true identity arrived in the country.
03:11We have discussed the matter with them thoroughly and explained.
03:15And also assured them of getting the police reports and the autopsy results.
03:21Because that is what we are waiting for.
03:24Before we can investigate, whether or not we will pursue claims in relation to Jenny's death.
