02:21against the Labiv until the end of the occupation and the lifting of the siege imposed on Gaza.
02:33An Israeli genocidal forces have been going on their unprecedented offensive against Gazans
02:38in the past 24 hours.
02:40Currently, media outlets estimate this could be a sign that a ceasefire may be closer.
02:45Members of the Hamas Resistance Movement kept posted Palestinian authorities on their
02:49advances in the current ceasefire negotiations in Doha, Qatar.
02:54Meanwhile, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry warned of Israeli plans to hamper communications
02:58between the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

03:23This house there was targeted.
03:25There was a belt of fire on the Ghafari area, which is on a crossing with al-Jalah street.
03:29This area is called the Ghafari area.
03:31It's crowded with residents.
03:33It's crowded with displaced people who have fled from Beit Hainan, from Jabalia the Jews

03:47It was at sunset.
03:48There were no ambulances.
03:50There were no carts or cars to transport the injured.
03:53The injured were bleeding out on the streets, and when the ambulances arrived, most of them
03:56had already died.
04:00Cuba officially joined South Africa's lawsuit against Israel for genocide in Palestine as
04:06announced by the International Court of Justice on January 13.
04:11Invoking Article 63 of the ICJ statute, Cuba condemned Israel's long-standing actions against
04:16the Palestinian people, calling attention to the urgent need for accountability and
04:20justice in the face of systematic oppression.
04:23This intervention underscores Cuba's commitment to supporting Palestinian rights and highlights
04:28the role of the ICJ as a critical platform for addressing violations of international
04:32law.
04:33The Cuban government emphasized that immediate international action is necessary to confront
04:37Israel's policies and protect human rights amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
04:47On Tuesday, the Angolan Health Ministry reported a death toll from a cholera outbreak rose
04:51to 19, and there are 283 confirmed cases in the northern coast.
04:56Authorities estimate that this outbreak started on December 31, 2024, with a patient who developed

05:55The Cuban Academy of Sciences commemorated on Monday the Day of Science at the Hermano
05:59Salma Heras Hospital in Havana.
06:02In the event, the president of the Cuban Academy of Sciences, Dr. Luis Velazquez, expressed
06:06that it is crucial to search the figure of technology-based companies, in addition to
06:11empowering youngsters.
06:13In the ceremony, Dr. Alejandro González highlighted the significant contribution to
06:17science of the wise physicians and researchers Carlos Huynh Lai.
06:23In sum, the historical date was celebrated Monday nationwide, as it is the nation's
06:29Day of Science since January 15, 1990.
06:32Cuba is a referral when it comes to science for the scientific training in which young
06:36people take the lead.
06:43You are our paradigm.
06:45In the dream that was read, there is nothing compared to the knowledge base that exists
06:48in this room.
06:50Really we are young associates who have the yearning, the dream of someday becoming academics,
06:54tenured academics, physicians like you are.
06:57So I think the first applause is for yourselves.
07:02And the UN warns that the number of people in Haiti who have fled their homes due to
07:06criminal armed violence rose threefold in the last year to over one million.
07:14In December 2023, we did record around 315,000 people who were displaced from the violence.
07:23One year since then, we have seen the number triple to over a million people who have now
07:28been displaced because of gang violence in Haiti.
07:33This is a really troubling number, and it represents the security situation that most
07:39Haitians are currently facing.
07:41The most concrete data we have is that around 1,041,000 people, to be precise, are currently
07:48living in displacement in Haiti.
07:51Most of these people have been displaced multiple times.
07:54We have seen a lot of the displacement occurring within the capital of Port-au-Prince, but
08:00then we have seen also a lot of people being displaced and moving towards the neighboring
08:05provinces.
08:06And this also has created a bit of pressure on the social services within the provinces
08:14that are adjacent to Haiti.
08:18In Venezuela, the Vice President for International Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela,
08:22Randel Peña, questioned on Monday who is in charge of Colombia's foreign policy,
08:27whether President Gustavo Petro or Foreign Minister Gilberto Murillo.
08:31Through an article, the representatives of the party warned that the Colombian foreign
08:35minister obeys former President Juan Manuel Santos and the government of the United States.
08:40Randel Peña explained that according to the Colombian constitution, the president must
08:44direct the foreign policy of the country.
08:46However, it seems that this attribution has been outsourced to the U.S., with former President
08:51Santos as intermediary and Foreign Minister Murillo as executor.
08:56According to Peña, the U.S. has ordered the Colombian foreign minister to boycott everything
09:00that has to do with Venezuela.
09:06The president of Iran, Massoud Peshachian, congratulated the president of Venezuela,
09:10Nicolas Maduro, on the start of his third term, reaffirming his country's support
09:14for the Venezuelan people and government.
09:16Through his social media, the Iranian president reaffirmed his country's willingness to strengthen
09:22bilateral relations between the two peoples.
09:24Likewise, he condemned the aggressions against the Venezuelan government and people, stressing
09:29that any foreign intervention and attempt to threaten and sanction the country is doomed
09:33to failure.
09:35President Nicolas Maduro was sworn in for a third consecutive term after being elected
09:38by the Venezuelan people in the elections held on July 28.
09:42The Venezuelan president's inauguration has been marked by a media war and failed
09:46attempts to destabilize the country led by the country's far-right and supported by
09:51the United States.
09:58The International Congress of Communication in Caracas, Venezuela, came to an end after

11:23in each other country that is getting over here.

11:30States agreed to establish the Hugo Chavez International People's Communication Award.
11:35The first grantee are the more than 100 Palestinian journalists who lost their lives in Israel's
11:40attacks.
11:44Imperialism's walls cannot be an obstacle against the communication and development
11:48of the peoples that love independence, peace and justice.
11:52This Congress is a beacon and a window for us.
12:00Creating the network of the networks.
12:02Established was a permanent secretariat within the International University of Communication,

12:12Media institutions will consolidate their relations within what delegates call the network
12:17of the networks, globally.
12:18As you know, Islamic resistance comes from other nature.
12:19Latin American socialism, the other one.
12:20But when these people that try, actually are trying hard to fight against imperialism come
12:38under or unite themselves under a unique flag of...
12:43Several speakers spoke about coordinating the effort with China and Russia.
12:47Some of the delegates from the latter have already ideas.
12:50Russia has its own experience to struggle with fake news.
12:55On political level, on society level, we can propose a project of laws for any countries

14:03The Russian government accused the United States and Ukraine of planning terrorist acts
14:07aimed at destroying the European Union's energy security.
14:10Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned that Washington and Kiev are not only planning
14:15but have carried out attacks on the Nord Stream and Turkey Stream gas pipelines in
14:19an unconscionable manner.
14:21The diplomat affirmed that the United States seeks to eliminate any kind of competition
14:26in all sectors, and in this case, the energy area is no exception.
14:30On Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted
14:35to attack with drones the compressor station that supplies gas to Turkey and southeastern
14:40European countries through the Turkey Stream.
14:49The United States does not need any kind of rival in any sectors, starting with the energy
14:55sector, where they shamelessly allow terrorist acts to destroy the basis of the energy welfare
15:04of the European Union, where they encourage their Ukrainian followers to repeat what they
15:09did to the Nord Stream and take the Turkish Stream out of service.
15:31In the United States, dry wind gusts from Santana difficult firefighters work and jeopardize
15:36the rescue of the bodies of the dead victims of two huge fires affecting Los Angeles.
15:41The Palisades and Eaton fires that have already consumed more than 40,000 acres, equivalent
15:46of an area larger than the city of San Francisco, could intensify.
15:51Wind gusts of 72 to 112 km per hour are forecast to persist through Wednesday.
15:56Rescue officials acknowledge that this is a worst-case scenario, especially since there
16:00are more than 20 bodies to be rescued and at least 23 people are confirmed missing.
16:06The Palisades fire is currently only 14% contained and the Eaton fire 33% contained.
16:16In France, migrants have been occupying a theater in Paris for about a month to demand
16:20that the government provide them with housing.
16:22According to local media, last December the Gate Lyric Theater in Paris hosted a free
16:27conference entitled Reinventing the Reception of Refugees in France, which attracted more
16:32than 250 African immigrants led by Parisian activists.
16:37Currently around 300 people have occupied the theater's facilities to intensify their
16:41demands for housing from the country's government.
16:44It is important to emphasize that the immigrants occupying the theater arrived in the country
16:49claiming to be under 18, which would entitle them to housing and assistance from the local
16:53authorities, but they were considered adults and most ended up sleeping on the streets.
17:02In Praia Grande, India, the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 has officially begun, with organizers
17:19expecting around 400 million attendees over the six-week festival.
17:24Kicking off on January 13th, the event features the auspicious Pushpurnima Snan, where millions
17:30gather to bathe at the sacred confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati
17:35rivers.
17:36As the largest religious gathering in the world, the Kumbh Mela showcases India's rich
17:40cultural heritage alongside its spiritual practices.
17:43This year's festival is particularly significant due to a rare celestial alignment enhancing
17:49its spiritual importance.
17:56The banding celebrated Voodoo Day, a festivity focused on the arts, culture, and spirituality
18:00around this cult.
18:01Let's learn more in the following material.
18:10In the southern city of Ouida, in this African country, dozens of participants gathered for
18:14a three-day celebration of this traditional event, which featured a mix of vibrant songs,
18:19dances, and the display of characteristic attire.
18:31In practice, women play a central role during the organization of the rites and meetings,
18:35being the main responsible for teaching and sharing this knowledge to young and old people.
18:48Imagine a voodoo ceremony without all those people telling sermons.
18:51As you can see most of them are women, because they are the ones who will carry the energy.
18:55Don't forget that everything is a matter of vibrations, energy and frequency, so women,
19:01through their voices and through their hearts give the energy and frequencies necessary
19:04for the manifestation of the divine energy.
19:12Women are considered guardians of the spiritual and cultural transmission of this tradition,
19:17linked to the powers of nature and ancestors.
19:23Some festival celebrations are even specifically dedicated to female divinities such as Mami
19:28Wada and Sikpada, underlining the importance of the role of women in the collective cultural
19:33action.
19:39Anyone can join the Vodun cult.
19:41As soon as a person presents himself, he is put in contact with the priests who explain
19:45the conditions to be met in order to be able to access the practice or simply the initiation.
19:54Every year, thousands of tourists from all over the world flock to the city of Ouida,
19:58considered the cradle of voodoo, to watch dozens of the faithful perform these practices
20:02and activities around the Voodoo Day cult, a festivity that enhances the spiritual and
20:07cultural heritage of the country.
