00:00The Department of Finance, or DOF, is positive that the Philippine economy will continue to grow in the coming years.
00:08In a radio broadcast in the Philippines, Finance Undersecretary Dominique Velasquez said that the gross domestic product, or GDP, of the country will exceed 6% by 2028.
00:21Aside from the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and the International Monetary Fund are also seeing an increase of 6% in the next two years.
00:34The sector of services is seen by the DOF as having the greatest potential to continue to grow the GDP of the country.
00:43The manufacturing and industry of agriculture is also seen to strengthen the economy of the country.
00:52We will see for the next few years, at least 6%, for the next, until 2028, at least 6% of our growth.
01:00Maybe for the ASEAN, one of the fastest is Vietnam. Vietnam, actually in 2024, grew by 7%. But let's follow Vietnam, which is 6%.
