00:00Department of Tourism Secretary Cristina Frasco laid out the programs and plans of the agency this year

00:06that will help in the development of tourism in the country.

00:09The details in the news of the country by Allan Francisco.

00:15The Department of Tourism is looking forward to the development of the tourism sector this 2025.

00:21In the program, Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, Tourism Secretary Cristina Frasco said

00:27that they will not only be limited in tourism promotion,

00:30but they will also continue the tourism development and tourism investment.

00:36They are cooperating with the private sector to ensure that there will be more accommodations

00:41or structures in the Philippines that will serve foreign tourists.

00:46We are very grateful that the Philippine Hotel Owners Association has committed to work with us

00:51in implementing the Philippine Hotel Infrastructure Strategic Action Plan

00:56that we launched to address the growth in room keys.

00:59Secretary Frasco said that they will continue to pay attention to the programs

01:04that will enhance the culture of the Filipinos.

01:07That is through the continuation of our Philippine Experience Programs.

01:12These are heritage, culture, and arts caravans that we brought to 11 regions.

01:17In addition, they will bring the Philippine Experience Program to all regions of the country.

01:24They will also have additional tourism rest areas

01:28such as clean, beautiful, and fragrant restrooms.

01:33For our tourists all over the country with 10 constructed, 22 ongoing,

01:40and 60 more forthcoming for various LGUs in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

01:49The Tourism Department will also build Tourist First Aid Facilities in various islands of the country

01:55to improve the tourist experience.

01:58It is also a chance this year for the country to join the Global Stage at the Osaka World Expo 2025.

02:05The Philippines is mounting a pavilion with a theme, Woven, featuring the weaving traditions

02:13and weaving communities of the country and all of the regions of the Philippines

02:18and the highlights of these destinations including the sites, the products, and the light.

02:24Gastronomy Tourism or Tourism Promotion is also expected through delicious food and drinks.

02:32They also plan to add Cruise Tourism Destinations, Dive Tourism, and more.

02:38Tourism Infrastructure Development and many more are also included.
