00:00Today we yarded just shy of 2,900 cattle. That consisted of Euro steers, Euro heifers,
00:07very good run of Angus heifers and some Heron heifers in that also. Generally as a whole
00:12market they're held up very well. The better lines of cattle they're probably sold above
00:16expectation. Yeah all the secondary drafts had to be still in solid competition. Going through a few
00:24of the categories here today, the Euro steers started off very strong, there's plenty of weight
00:29up in the lead of them. Their grades were about $3.80 to $4.20. We then ran on to a run of Euro
00:36and Euro plus heifers, then grazed from $3.20 for the liner and through $3.50 for the heifers
00:42with a bit of weight behind them. There was an extraordinary lineup of Angus heifers as there
00:48is every year here at Yate. The best of those going back to breeders in the local area probably
00:55made out to $4.20 for a few exceptional sales. Most of the heifers there being $3.60 to $3.80
01:02for the heavier end. There was a small run of Heron for heifers and they've made out to probably
01:07$3.50 to $3.55 for the heavier end. There was a bit of a dispersal of the Armstrong family
01:14in there and I'm actually looking at Dawson or Greener up at the Casino. So they've pretty
01:20strong results there. Overall a solid day here at Yate and I'm looking forward to seeing them
01:26both for the next year or so on Friday.
