00:00I feel amazing. I think it's a great new step in my life and I'm really looking
00:09forward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend, Aashna.
00:17I think the combination of hip-hop, Bollywood and melody, I think that's a very
00:23eclectic combination and Royal Stag Boombox is the only property in the
00:27country that's currently doing that. I think this combination is very eclectic for the fans,
00:33listeners and concert attendees. And all the concerts I have done in the last few years
00:43with Royal Stag Boombox have been extremely energetic, super fun and the turnout is
00:52amazing. There is a lot of excitement and I'm looking forward to watching these artists live.
00:56And this year is also going to be equally amazing. I'm performing in Guwahati, I'm performing in
01:04Gurgaon and also in Thane. So I'm very excited for these three concerts and I have made a very
01:14exciting song with Ikka Bhai. I'm not sure when that comes out but I'm super excited whenever
01:19it does drop. So yeah, Royal Stag Boombox is a platform not only for the audiences to experience
01:27something which is unique but also for the artists who are collaborating together and are fusing their genres together.
01:39With most of my music, the kind of music that I have released, the music for which I want to go,
01:45I think already has melody, already has meaningful lyrics.
01:56That is the approach of how those songs are conveyed.
02:15We are not able to listen to them in that way.
02:17Some audiences feel that it is very similar to the original track, it is nothing different.
02:25So I think with my performances recently, the songs that have been hit, which are new as well,
02:31how can I present them in a different way but also retain the original essence.
02:38For example, if someone likes the song that you have released with MS Dhoni in an original way,
02:47that person will also like it and the one who feels that something should be different from the original,
02:52that person will also find it very exciting, you know, hearing that at my concert.
02:55So this is the attempt to present the repertoire in a new, exciting way.
03:02And obviously, there are a lot of artists in the lineup who will bring heavy beats, hip-hop beats,
03:09like Raftaar, like Ikka Baji.
03:11So I think it's going to be an amazing experience from melody to hip-hop.
03:20See, overall, India, if you look at it from the point of view of a concert for many years,
03:29there are not many venues where people can present successful, proper, big concerts.
03:36But in the last few years, a lot of festivals have come to India, like Lollapalooza, Sunburn,
03:46then a lot of well-known artists like Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran,
03:49such artists have come who have brought their own stage, who have brought their own rider in India.
03:55There is definitely less infrastructure to support that, I think.
04:01But going forward, because there is so much excitement for concerts,
04:07because there is so much enthusiasm in the audience, in the youth to go and watch a concert,
04:13I feel that the overall events industry that is coming together to try to create more and more venues
04:20where concerts can be held.
04:23Even though there is no infrastructure yet,
04:25but in the next few years, I think in the next five years,
04:28such amazing venues or stadiums or arenas will be built in India where concerts can be held.
04:36So maybe the infrastructure was a little bit here and there, but it will be better.
04:41And I feel like, I'm very, very hopeful that India will be one of the top,
04:45it already is one of the top touring destinations in the world.
04:50In 2022, I think around, I connected with Ed Sheeran and we did a song called Two-Step.
05:03And then he said that I will come to India in 2024 and perform,
05:10so we will definitely perform this song on stage.
05:16And when I went to meet him in Denmark, I just listened to it and thought,
05:21yes, okay, whenever he comes, I think, I don't know, he must have said it as a joke.
05:26But actually, he messaged me and said that we should do this performance together.
05:33And the two-step song, our collaboration, in which I sang a Hindi verse,
05:39a lot of people really liked it.
05:43And when he did a concert in Mumbai, he was very gracious that he invited me to that stage,
05:49such a big stage, that too in my hometown.
05:52So I was very happy that I could join the stage with him and perform that song with him
05:57in front of my home audience.
05:58And I want such collaborations to continue between Indian artists and international artists.
06:06And a lot of such concerts, such moments should be built.
06:14We have to release amazing music, we have to do very exciting concerts.
06:21My UK tour is also coming, which I am very excited about, in April,
06:2612th and 13th of April, I am performing in London and Leicester.
06:29So I am very excited about that.
06:31And obviously, all the concerts of Royal Stag Boombox,
06:35be it in Guwahati or Gurgaon or Thane, I am very, very excited for all these concerts.
06:412025 is going to be a magnificent year for music, for concerts, so I am very excited.
