00:00Let's start off with the University of Alabama.
00:03They go down.
00:04Let's begin with them.
00:05Was that a surprise to you, seeing this last night?
00:08Oh, stunning, because it was a home game.
00:11Ole Miss is certainly a capable team.
00:13And if the game had been in Mississippi, at Oxford,
00:19no surprise, because a lot of significant SEC teams
00:24are going to win most of their home games.
00:25But Alabama coming off a terrific performance
00:29over the weekend against Texas A&M,
00:31it was a game more to their liking.
00:33But Ole Miss made it into a ground game kind of affair.
00:40And what they really did was a great defensive job
00:43on the backcourt.
00:44LeBaron Phylon and Mark Sears from Alabama
00:49combined, I believe, two of 16 from the field,
00:53one of seven from three.
00:55You're not going to beat very many teams in that league
00:57shooting the basketball like that.
00:59And Mark Sears is an All-America candidate.
01:02And Ole Miss completely shut him down.
01:04And I think Ole Miss maybe felt like everybody
01:07would want to play that up-and-down.
01:09Excuse me, Alabama felt everybody's going to want
01:11to play that up-and-down game.
01:12But Ole Miss cannot do that in this league.
01:15They have to grind it.
01:17And so you have to be prepared for that.
01:20And it didn't look like the Alabama players
01:23were mentally prepared for that style of game.
