00:22I'm a 14-year-old girl studying in
00:24SMK Infant Research Conference, Johor Bahru.
00:27Today, we are here with our innovative idea, Smartscope.
00:30And we are these eagle lasers.
00:31Our Smartscope device is connected to an app
00:34via Wi-Fi or a Type-C cable to a mobile device.
00:38So now, we're going to do a simple demonstration
00:41on how to use the Smartscope.
00:42So first, Nina will have to connect the Smartscope
00:45through the USB cable and to the laptop
00:47and then she will on the camera app

01:29and gain more advanced results
01:32like safety measures on how to take care of their teeth.
01:34First, in the making of Smartscope,
01:37we got the inspiration from an EOX camera
01:41that's already in the market.
01:43So then we wanted to use the microscope camera they had.
01:45From a suggested dentist,
01:48we got the idea to add a dental gel compartment to the camera
01:53to enhance its features.
01:55Then we also got ideas from ChatGBT and also Grab
02:00that we should make an app for Smartscope
02:02to make sure the features are easy.
02:04So this will be our first prototype.
02:06We used one camera based on an EOX camera.
02:09These are the other tryouts that we bought.
02:12This is a smaller version of the camera
02:15and then this is the bigger version.
02:17So we're trying to modify this to something like this
02:20to make it smaller so it's easier to put inside your teeth.
02:23And then for the Wi-Fi connection,
02:25there'll be a USB cable just connected to it
02:27so you can just access the Wi-Fi and control the lights over there.
02:32With joining Innovaton, we hope to receive additional funding
02:36to make Smartscope a possibility,
02:38to make Smartscope come to life
02:40so that it will allow users or people around the world
02:43to be more confident about their smiles
02:45and receive awareness about their dental health and oral hygiene
02:50and also know how important their oral health is.
