00:00The Parole and Probation Administration of Mimaropa launched a program to help persons deprived of liberty or PDL.
00:09Joshua Sugay of PIA Oriental Mindoro has news for the country.
00:16The voice will be given to the former persons deprived of liberty by the UNIFIED After Care Referral Monitoring System and Program for Former PDL of the Parole and Probation Administration of Mimaropa.
00:29According to the Parole and Probation Administration of Mimaropa Regional Director Dr. Janet S. Padua,
00:34the system used will be a holistic approach.
00:38They have already served their sentence.
00:40So definitely, we will not hold them anymore.
00:43But if they are allowed to undergo this system,
00:48they will be taken care of by the government through a holistic approach.
00:53Now, I came from a city jail. I agreed to this.
00:56Then, when I go out, I will be greeted by a circle of support from the mayor or provincial governor.
01:03Padua also added that the pilot implementation will be three years for those who are under the PDL.
01:09Here, the needs of the former PDLs will be determined based on their preferences.
01:16Padua also emphasized that the programs for the former PDLs will not end with the implementation of the PPA system.
01:23Because it will still have a so-called monitoring,
01:26where it will know if the programs and services requested by the PDLs have been successful.
01:32The referral monitoring system of the PPA of Mimaropa is a priority for the whole country.
