00:00We've had a pretty good day here at Hamilton, about 3,500 to 3,600 black and herefin heifers
00:04were penned by the independent agent. The start of the breed of heifers or the better end that
00:07have gone back to the paddock for a breeding program, they topped at $4.40.
00:10With Victorian partials, 387 kilo heifers. Most of the breed of heifers lines that have
00:16been taken back to the paddock to go back into their programs are probably $3.50 up to $4.40.
00:22Majority $3.50 to $3.80. A few outliers. Once we've gone back into the black,
00:28it's all your fattening heifers, three to 330 to 340 kilos. Throw a blanket over $3.10 to $3.40
00:35pretty much for a whole lot of them. Really good support from the North, South Australia, Tasmania
00:41and locals. So we've had a pretty good outcome there. Move on to the herefins, they were a bit
00:46tougher. The best of the herefins I think made $3.20 for some of the Arana heifers.
00:52The Wheeler heifers sold pretty well at $3.00, pretty much blanket over the whole lot.
00:56But yeah, a little bit tougher on the restockers. And then when it came to fattening herefins,
01:02mostly under $3.00 a kilo. So we had a good run of Simis here. I think they topped $3.40.
01:09And pretty much, the Simis probably stayed in line with the blacks and sold reasonably well.
01:14And then on the bottom end of our blacks, over 300 kilos, they were
01:17very strong. $3.10 to $3.40 again. But the whole way through, no moles in the job whatsoever.
