00:00Riding out of Zillertal, two podiums last year, and 100% the winner of the person having the most fun at all times.
00:08Timmy Schroeder, an absolute weapon on a snowboard, and such a strong rider, so much fun to watch.
00:15He's always got a really creative eye for line, and I cannot wait to see what he's picked out.
00:21We've seen, you know, three runs, three totally different takes on this face. Timmy's on course now.
00:26Heading towards where Victor and Jonathan went, oh my god, huge backflip, right into that softer snow.
00:34Now he's controlling his board on his heel side edge, and lining up one more air right away.
00:39Again, this top section, it's going to come quick, and you're going to want to hit as much as you can with the speed that you've got.
00:45Well, that is a strong strategy, grabbing the judge's attention straight out of the start gate, as he gets over onto this north-facing slope.
00:53We saw Jon Pau in here as well, and he's going to do that mandatory air out of the couloir, cooking out of there.
01:01Timmy Schroeder, another regular foot rider, now he's putting his arms out in the classic screaming eagle of Xavier Delarue.
01:09He says he likes to use that to slow himself down, give himself a little bit of wind, as he flies across this middle section.
01:15You know, we talked about this maybe being an opportunity for the riders to take a break, but I think at the speed Timmy's going right now, there's no rest.
01:21Yeah, maybe he gets one or two breaths in there, and yeah, Tim's a rider that came through the junior development of these competitions,
01:29and I think he's got a lot of great experience to ride from that.
01:33Alright, putting that toe side edge to work as he's pointed himself towards one of these lower wind lips, popping off that one.
01:40These wind lips are tricky, the take-offs are just pure ice, so the riders need to be set up with their direction,
01:45and I think it might be a little bit trickier on a snowboard to pull the take-off on the ice like that.
01:51So he's opting out of the rest of the wind lips to head out riders left now on this lower section of the face.
01:56Oh, picking up a nice feature there, great little transfer, perfect tranny at the end of that as he comes towards the finish line.
02:03Let's see how many more airs he can put in here.
02:06Oh, getting a nice one there, using the heel side edge of his board just to control direction at the last second before he takes off,
02:13and Tim Schroeder through the finish line.
02:18He is hyped.
02:21Hell yeah.
02:23That's a bit crusty there.
02:25Alright, let's take a look back here at Tim Schroeder's run.
02:28Yeah, right out the top, big backflip, this is a really impressive way to start your run and make that mark.
02:35You can see he put his hands down a little bit, they could dock that a little for control,
02:39but he was moving down the hill, falling quite well his whole run.
02:44Now the judges digging the line, that line score bar jacked way up.
02:48I like that move, almost like a layback slash on a surfboard, just getting himself pointed correctly off the nose of that final feature.
02:55And then Tim Schroeder bringing it home, great technique, super strong line.
03:00Our Mahmoud Line Tracker here showing extreme all-line riding and that backflip right out of the gate.
03:06I have a feeling the judges are going to be digging that.
03:09Yeah, now so far Victor's the only one that's kind of gone riders left.
03:27Yeah, Timmy knows how to put on a show, he also produces a lot of films, correct?
03:32Yeah, he is a filmmaker, he is a snowboarder, he is a renaissance man of the people,
03:37and everyone loves hanging out with Tim as we see Victor De La Rue score,
03:41Tim Schroeder score up, almost touching it, 77.33.
03:45So Tim Schroeder.
