Reggie Bush Would Love To Coach At USC ‘I Can Help Win National Championships’

00:00I know you have said you are interested possibly in coaching at the college level.

00:07Now that I have you here, I have to ask, do you see yourself at USC?

00:10100%, 100%.

00:13You know, the same way that I helped them win national championships as a player

00:17is the same way I can help them win national championships as a coach.

00:20You know, I believe that wholeheartedly I would love to come back and coach USC

00:26at some point.

00:27I believe from a recruiting standpoint, you know, down to just my knowledge

00:31of the game and my knowledge of being able to win championships

00:35and knowing what it takes, that's something that I have expertise in

00:39that not a lot of other coaches have expertise in.

00:43And the one thing that you need as a head coach is leadership,

00:47but also you need someone who understands how to, you know,

00:52craft a culture that breeds championships, that breeds winning championships.

00:58And I'm not saying that the current coach doesn't know that.

01:01You know, I think the world of Lincoln Riley, I think he's a great coach.

01:05I'm excited to see what he does, you know, next year.

01:08But I also think I would love, you know, a bite at the apple as well,

01:12you know, to be able to come back and coach my alma mater would be, I mean,

01:18words can't even explain, you know, what that would mean to me.

01:21And so, you know, the first time around when I was recruited by USC

01:25to come play there, you know, I knew that was home.

01:30And it's always been home for me.

01:32And that still has not changed.

01:34Even through, you know, the Heisman Trophy situation,

01:37like that's never wavered, it's never changed.

01:39USC has always been home.

01:41And the brand of USC and Reggie Bush have always, you know, it breeds success.

01:49Have you talked with Coach Riley at all about this?

01:51Like, hey, I'm raising my hand right here.

01:54I have not spoken to Lincoln about it, you know, but we have talked.

02:00And we do text, you know, from time to time.

02:03And so, you know, that's something that, again, like I said, I would love.
