00:25World Tour in 2025. After shooting a second round 65 to reach 12 under par, Dubai resident

00:36Yoon Ferguson holds a one shot lead over Kiwi Daniel Hillier. Ferguson is bogey free to

00:44this stage on the very demanding Majlis course and that really is a splendid effort. By his

00:52own admission he was helped by a little bit of luck on the 18th hole in the second round.

00:58His second shot hit the corporate hospitality unit at the back of the green bouncing back to

01:08five feet and the 28 year old, a three-time winner on the DP World Tour, rolled in the

01:16putt for an eagle. It's been a good couple of days for the Scots here, seven players started

01:23out and six of them are through to the weekend. Bob McIntyre, he's on four under par and Connor

01:32Syme, Callum Hill, Richie Ramsey and Grant Forrest also made the cut. Three-time, sorry,

01:41hat-trick-seeking Rory McIlroy, he has plenty ground to make up over the weekend. He's on three

01:48under par and a surprise casualty was John Ram who played in the opening two rounds with McIntyre.

01:58Afterwards the Spaniard was fulsome in his praise of the Scot, saying he has the game to get in the

02:07mix in majors this year and said in no uncertain terms that he hopes the open man is in the
