Supporters of President-elect Donald Trump, who have travelled to the US capital to attend Monday's inauguration, share their disappointment after the announcement that the events will move indoors due to expected freezing weather. The change of plan means Trump will not stand on the Capitol steps overlooking the National Mall, which traditionally hosts a large crowd to welcome new presidents. Instead, the Republican president will give his Inauguration Address in the Capitol Rotunda.

00:00I'm disappointed but I will say that I guess safety was of the utmost and there was concern
00:07for the cold. Although being from Montana, where it gets to be 40 degrees below zero,
00:13this is balmy. But there is a rally tomorrow which I am really looking forward to
00:23and I actually had tickets to be way up close and so now I won't be there.
00:34I have a granddaughter with us and I'm disappointed because this is like a big
00:40trip for us and it's history. It's history. I want to see it. And we did prepare for the weather. We
00:46knew what the weather was going to be and we have a suitcase full of cold weather clothes. But you
00:52know what? It's so great to be here. And yes, we're Trump supporters but we have met so many
01:00people from all over the country and it's like being kind of validated.
01:09We would do anything for our president. We love him and we're so proud of him and we just think
01:16that the change of plans is a necessary thing due to the cold and it would be a dangerous
01:23situation for many people.
