00:18According to Page Six, Lopez and Costner were both spotted after Christmas 2024 in Aspen,
00:24Colorado. Both stars were there separately, with their respective families. Lopez shared
00:28photos on her Instagram of Max and Emmy, her children with ex Marc Anthony, enjoying
00:33Christmas in the snowy Rockies. She also posted a reel of her post-Christmas and New Year's
00:38festivities in the elite Mountain Enclave.
00:40One of those outings found the actress and singer at Kimo Sabe, a high-end Western-wear
00:45shop by day that becomes a star-magnet after hours with its upstairs bar. Lopez and Costner
00:50could be seen in social media posts among the bar's patrons, though not together.
00:55So just a coincidence, maybe?

01:03Well, it is true that Life & Style reported that the duo mingled. That was followed up
01:07by a source telling Closer that Costner sent J.Lo a handwritten note, a magnum of champagne
01:12and her favorite flowers, which are reported to be white roses and lilies. Both A-listers
01:17have said nothing about the relationship, but the Closer source claimed they now talk
01:22regularly.
01:23It would certainly be interesting for Costner and Lopez to make a love connection. They're
01:27both recently divorced, and those divorces played out very much in the public eye.
01:31The end of Costner's nearly 20-year marriage to Christine Baumgartner dragged on for months
01:36as they battled over assets, finally ending in February 2024. Lopez's divorce from Ben
01:41Affleck after only about two years of marriage seemed to end with a relatively clean cut,
01:47but Ben did learn that even if her love don't cost a thing, divorcing her definitely does.
01:53Costner has been married one other time. Lopez has been married a total of four times. So
01:57one has to wonder, are they ready to jump back into something serious?
02:01Lopez told Interview magazine in October 2024 that she was not eager for a new relationship.
02:07Costner told People that June that he's open to finding love again. So it seems like if
02:11the relationship rumors bear out, they may not be rushing to the aisle, instead choosing
02:16to keep it casual.

02:20It's also hard to ignore the age difference at play. Costner just turned 70 in January
02:252025. Lopez is 55 as of July 2024. Plenty of Hollywood couples have shown that a sizable
02:32age gap can work. To name a few, George and Amal Clooney, Michael Douglas and Catherine
02:37Zeta-Jones, and Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart.
02:40But this is new territory for Lopez. While Costner is 15 years older than her, Lopez
02:45has dated several men younger than her. She was engaged to baseball star Alex Rodriguez,
02:50who's six years her junior. Affleck is three years younger. Other partners of hers have
02:54tended to be roughly the same age.
02:56Costner, on the other hand, has no problem with younger partners, though. Baumgartner
03:00was 18 years his junior. His first wife, Cindy Silva, was around two years younger.
03:05Of course, both Lopez and Costner are very busy people. After starring in four and a
03:09half seasons of Yellowstone, he left the show in 2024 to direct and star in Horizon, an
03:14American saga, the third chapter of which is in production.
03:18Lopez, meanwhile, has been promoting her film Atlas, producing a number of upcoming projects,
03:22and keeping her business ventures — including her beauty line and cocktail brand — thriving.
03:27Then there are the kids, to consider. Both are busy parents — Costner has seven kids
03:31and Lopez has two. She also maintains relationships with her own ex's kids, including a tight
03:36bond with Affleck's children. So do they even have time to put effort into a new relationship?
