00:04Last year in Paris, it was still an exhibition sport,
00:07but in the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics,
00:10it will become a mandatory sport.
00:12That's why many in the Philippine skateboarding community
00:15are looking forward to the next skateboarding star
00:18who will hopefully bring us the gold medal.

00:53in the Southeast Asian Street Skateboarding Games.
00:57It's a big event for me
00:59because my opponents are all great skaters
01:01from the Philippines and other countries.
01:09I started skating when I was 10 years old.
01:12As I grew up, skateboarding helped me a lot
01:16because I often won.
01:21In every flip and grind,
01:23Renz will meet an athlete
01:25who continues to fight against the challenges of life.

01:30especially when it rains.
01:32We don't have a good game.
01:35My dream for all Filipino skateboarders
