00:52But stay tuned because the incoming US President Donald Trump said
00:57that he's open to a solution to return TikTok once it's back in place.
01:03Trump previously said that it's possible for him to give a 90-day reprieve for TikTok.
01:08Tomorrow, January 20, is Trump's inauguration day.
01:13But because there was no decision from the incumbent US President Joe Biden
01:18to delay the decision to ban TikTok in America,
01:22it was continued today.
01:24That's a big relief for some of our countrymen in America

01:34The brothers, Nazaira and Zyler Lanik, in Bakersfield, California,
01:38were shocked that they can no longer use TikTok on January 18.
01:43It suddenly stopped.
01:44It was only January 18, and it was only 9 o'clock.
01:47So, it was very confusing because they said it was January 19.
01:52TikTok is a big thing in their studies,
01:55but how can you not have TikTok in them?
01:58I don't know what to do or something.
02:02I don't know.
02:07If I need to know about the American Revolution or something,
02:10I try searching it up on social medias.
02:13It helps me to learn.
02:16It helps me to learn different things.
02:19I don't see any harm in TikTok.
02:23I see more harms here in America
02:28that they can ban instead of TikTok.
02:31Because TikTok is also news.
02:33It's good for you.
02:35Improv artist Arin Cristobal posted on Instagram
02:39that because his TikTok is U.S.-based,

02:43he can't open it.
02:45Here in the Philippines,
02:47the government passed a bill last year
02:49to ban foreign adversary-controlled apps
02:53including TikTok.
02:55In 2023, the National Security Council
02:58started investigating TikTok
03:00to find out if it has a data breach,
03:03just like when it became a myth that it was banned in America.
03:06But for now,
03:08according to National Security Council Assistant Director General Jonathan Malaya,
03:12it's possible that in the coming weeks,
03:15the agency will be able to issue an announcement.
