00:00Five thousand pesos in cash and cell phone was stolen from a man who was held up by riding in tandem in Navaliches, Quezon City.

00:08Another man who was held up in the barangay commonwealth was also arrested in a follow-up operation.

00:13Here is the first news, James Agustin.

00:16Two incidents of holding up were responded by authorities in Quezon City.

00:22In the follow-up operation of the police, the man who was held up went to the barangay commonwealth.

00:26The suspect was in the side of the road when the authorities reached him.

00:30He was positive when the 24-year-old man was pointed at the victim,

00:33who was held up by the suspect while he was on his way to his relative.

00:40When the suspect's bag was opened,

00:46the 33-year-old man was arrested by the suspect.

00:49The victim's cell phone and wallet were recovered,

00:52as well as a gun loaded with bullets.

00:54The investigation found that the gun was not licensed and it was stolen from the suspect.

00:59The suspect also violated the existing commonwealth gun ban.

01:01We will have a ballistic examination to find out if the firearms were involved in other crimes.

01:09The suspect admitted to committing the crime.

01:11I was held up and I don't have a job.

01:19As for the stolen gun, he said he borrowed it from his friend.

01:23The suspect is facing a robbery complaint and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act

01:31In CCTV footage in Barangay San Agustin in Novaliches, Quezon City,

01:35a man was seen standing while using his cell phone.

01:39A few moments later, two men arrived on motorcycles.

01:42The cashier of the holdup declared that he took the victim's cell phone.

01:46The victim's bag was not yet content.

01:50His wallet contained P5,000.

01:52The victim complained to the authorities that he was being forced to go to his holdup job.

01:58He was waiting for his rider.

02:01After that, two men arrived on motorcycles.

02:05After that, he was hit by a gun.

02:08He was told to give him his cell phone and his bag.

02:13When he gave it to him, the child was shivering because of his nervousness.

02:18The crime was reported to the Novaliches Police Station,

02:21which is conducting a follow-up operation to catch the robbers.

02:24Because of the incident, the barangay officers were told to be more vigilant in their surveillance and patrol.
