00:00Two people were killed after their house in Tondo, Manila was trapped by fire.

00:05A senior citizen was also trapped by the fire.

00:09Bea Penlac has the first news.

00:15On the same day of the San Tonino de Tondo Fiesta,

00:19a thick smoke covered and the house caught fire

00:23in Barangay 48, Barrio Menudo, Tondo, Manila.

00:26Residents poured their own water to help put out the fire.

00:32The barangay's people also helped to save the man who was trapped in the third floor of the burning house.

00:40He was the only family affected by the fire that lasted for less than half an hour

00:45before it was completely put out at 5 p.m. according to the authorities.

00:49A senior citizen was injured.

00:52We thought it was okay.

00:54The senior citizen that we took out had a back injury.

00:59We took him to the ambulance.

01:03The 58-year-old man and his 43-year-old niece were also killed.

01:09My father went up again because my cousin was still there.

01:12They didn't go down.

01:14I love my father very much.

01:15I won't leave my mother and my brother.

01:18It's very painful.

01:21I didn't expect that to happen.
