00:23The Philippine Women's National Futsal Team lost to Australia on the last day of the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup Qualifiers this week in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
00:38Australia showed their strength early in the first half that they were able to score a few times.
00:44But when the 7th minute came, Judy Connolly's pass to Australia was missed due to Daisy Arrowsmith's goal.
00:53The Philippines did not allow Australia to dominate so Isabella Flanigan attacked in the remaining 30 seconds of the first half and forced her own goal to Hailey Smith.
01:05In the opening of the second half, Australia was able to advance from the good play of Claudia Fruscalso to Jessica Au.
01:14The Pinay Booters scored a few more times but the Australian squad's defense was still weaker.
01:21So the final score 2-1 to remain undefeated Australia and lead the group C of qualifiers and qualify for the Asian Cup.
01:31Even though the Philippines lost to Australia and Uzbekistan against Turkmenistan last night, the country still entered the main tournament in China in May as the best 3rd place team in the tournament with 2 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw.
