00:00We're talking about the receiving market right now and, you know,
00:03Terry McLaurin, as I said, has been absolutely awesome for the
00:05Commanders in, you know, the postseason, obviously, you know,
00:08two games, 87-plus yards in back-to-back games, touchdown
00:11and back-to-back games.
00:13The volume of yards are there.
00:15The targets are there.
00:17So, I don't mind going to Terry McLaurin over 62-and-a-half
00:20receiving yards and, you know, as I've said, you know, as I
00:23explained before the break and as I have explained many times
00:27on SportsGrid throughout the year that yards are always
00:29easier compared to receptions.
00:31A player breaks off a 50, 60, 70, 90-yard run, whatever it
00:35might be, after the catch, he's going to cash all of his
00:38receiving yards totals, but you can't have six catches on one
00:42catch.
00:43I know it sounds silly, but Terry McLaurin can't hit over
00:46five-and-a-half receptions on one catch.
00:48He can hit over 62-and-a-half yards on one catch, the point
00:51being, however, I don't mind looking to Terry McLaurin for
00:55over five-and-a-half receptions.
00:56I also don't mind looking to Diami Brown for over three-and-a-half
01:01receptions.
01:01Now, I will say, Brown over three-and-a-half receptions is
01:05sitting at minus 164.
01:07That is extremely, extremely juice.
01:11This is where, of course, I'll say, you know, shop for the
01:13best lines available.
01:14Let me just check on over on DK to see if they have anything
01:17posted for total receptions for Diami Brown.
01:23His is three-and-a-half minus 130.
01:26So it's over three-and-a-half minus 130 for Brown on DK, and
01:30it is over three-and-a-half minus 164 over on Faneville.
01:34That is a massive, massive discrepancy.
01:36So, really do like that minus 130 on over three-and-a-half.
01:41When we look to Brown, we are seeing consistent production
01:46from him, not for the entire year.
01:48His role in the offense has evolved as the season has gone
01:52on. Eight targets yesterday versus the Lions.
01:55Six catches.
01:55Five targets versus Tampa last week.
01:57Five catches.
01:58Then dating back to close out the regular season, 4-5-4-5
02:03targets with 3-4-3-4 receptions.
02:06Now, looking back to start the season, there are some games
02:08he's coming away with just one target, one reception.
02:10You got to understand that things have changed in the
02:12commander's offense.
02:14Now, do I expect him to be up at eight targets?
02:16Maybe not.
02:17Do I expect him to be down at one or two targets?
02:19No.
02:19So we're going to get into that 5-6 range, maybe seven if
02:23they do fall extremely far behind and have a ton of pass
02:26in place.
02:27So he needs to basically have four catches on five or six
02:30receptions.
02:32I think that's like, we want to know like how many bites
02:34of the apples he's going to have.
02:35And I think that's a good spot to get De'Ami Brown.
02:38Now, the same thing can be said about Terry McLaurin, again,
02:40always shopping for the best lines available.
02:42Looking at Terry McLaurin, it's 5-1-2 plus 116 on Feindel.
02:46It's 4-1-2 minus 150 on DK.
