00:00It was very unexpected today when guilty pleas were entered to all charges at Liverpool Crown
00:06Court. I think everybody in Southport was braced for six weeks of a really, what would
00:11be an incredibly gruesome and traumatic trial. That's a long time for all the families to
00:15have to sit through day after day, week after week. I'm glad that they've been spared from
00:19that ordeal, which they're recovering from the ordeal of the tragedy itself. They don't
00:24need to be going through something as awful as that as well. So I'm glad that guilty
00:29pleas have been entered. It's a massive relief, hopefully to the families but certainly to
00:34the community of Southport. The sentencing for the trial will take place on Thursday
00:38so we'll await more answers and find out more then. I hope the families will get the answers
00:45that they want. But it's all about the families, it's all about the people affected, the people
00:49who are injured, the people who are traumatised at the scene and I hope that everybody's love
00:53and compassion will go towards them.
