A clean up operation is being launched after a huge pile of waste was dumped in a Lichfield Lane.
The 6.5 feet tall pile which measures 50 feet in length was illegally dumped at around 6am on Monday morning. After a day of action involving police, residents, councillors and Lichfield District Council. a clean up is set to take place on Tuesday morning.

00:53would be done for this is absolutely horrendous what somebody's done early
00:58hours we have no entrance via East Avenue under the bridge because that's
01:02completely blocked off so we are cocooned in today and anybody who finds
01:09this funny you're as bad as a people that have done this absolutely
01:15despicable
01:18it's inconvenient for some people but it's absolutely an emergency and life
01:22threatening for others
01:29and then so we go up and then the police have kindly been out and just taped it
01:39off taped it off and gone hopefully we will have got the drone out but
01:49hopefully this might be a bit big for our wonderful literal little legends but
01:56there you have it
