00:00President Bongbong Marcos is returning to the PNP's Pondosaylang Proyekto in 2025 as part of the programs that will speed up the response to emergencies.

00:09Interior Secretary John Vicremulia said that the President can do this even if the 2025 General Appropriations Act is passed.

00:17Here's his explanation on my first news.

00:22The original budget can be described as suboptimal. We are working to make it optimal once again.

00:30President Bongbong Marcos continues to call on his departments to look for programs that were lost or were not reduced by the funds

00:37in his signed version of the 2025 National Budget.

00:41In his call to the Department of the Interior and Local Government, more than a billion pesos were lost in some priority projects

00:47such as the Information Technology IT Program of the PNP National Police Clearance System

00:52and the Drug-Related Integration and Generation System.

00:56It's unclear where the funds were lost.

00:59They put almost one billion pesos in the All Terrain Amphibious Rescue Vehicles for Region 5.

01:07It's specific to Region 5.

01:09They also put an additional 500 million pesos in the Intelligence Fund.

01:15The President is returning the funds that were transferred to the original budget, the 500 million pesos in the Intelligence Fund.

01:22It was transferred to an integrated 9-1-1 system throughout the country.

01:26If the project is implemented, the police and firefighters will be able to respond to any emergency within three minutes.

01:32It's good that the executives are trying to find a way to look for the funds that were lost by the congressmen in the GAA.

01:40But how will this be done?

01:42Now, the GAA has a law in force where they will look for and how much funds are in each line listed here.

01:49The DILG responded with a line from the President's veto message.
