00:00Mr. President, you're a president who has long said that you back the blue, but aren't
00:04you sending the message that assaulting officers is okay with these parties?
00:09No, the opposite.
00:10In fact, I'm going to be letting two officers from Washington Police, D.C.
00:19I believe they're from D.C., but I just approved it.
00:23They were arrested, put in jail for five years because they went after an illegal, and I
00:29guess something happened where something went wrong, and they arrested the two officers
00:35and put them in jail for going after a criminal, a rough criminal, by the way, and I'm actually
00:40releasing.
00:41No, I'm the friend of, I am the friend of police more than any president that's ever
00:46been in this office.
00:47Thank you, President Trump.
00:48More than 400 of the people that you pardoned, though, assaulted officers.
00:49So I want to ask you about the vice president, Jamie Vance.
00:50He said, if, this is a week ago, he said, if you committed violence on January 6th,
00:58today you should not be pardoned.
01:00Why is your vice president wrong?
01:02Well, only for one reason.
01:04They've served years in jail.
01:07They should not have served, excuse me, and they've served years in jail, and murderers
01:13don't even go to jail in this country, and we had 1,500.
01:17We have 16 under review, as you know.
01:19We commuted about 16 of them because it looks like they could have done things that were
01:25not acceptable for a full pardon.
01:29But these people have served years of jail, their lives have been ruined, and in many
01:32cases, listen to me for a second, stop interrupting, they've served years in jail, and if you look
01:40at the American public, the American public is tired of it.
01:43Take a look at the election.
01:46Just look at the numbers on the election.
01:48We won this election in a landslide because the American public is tired of people like
01:53you that are just one-sided, horrible people in terms of crime.
01:57You don't talk about all the people that have been killed and what happens to those murderers.
02:04Murderers get no time.
02:05You take a look at some of these DAs.
02:07They go after political opponents, but they don't go after people that shoot people in
02:11the street.
02:12They're caught.
02:14They know where they're living.
02:15They know everything.
02:16They don't even go up to pick them up anymore.
