00:00When it comes to EU and China, I think here the main position of most of the member states is to
00:07increase our cooperation, to respect the values that we share internationally,
00:11but also to increase economic cooperation, better access to the market, work on the progress,
00:18and that was the Chinese altered policy vis-a-vis the imports to China, and these were the main
00:25signals of President Xi back in Shanghai when I was there at the big summit for the export and
00:33import of China. I think this policy in Chinese terms is a longer one than elsewhere, and that
00:40is one thing. Second thing is that when it comes to the United States-EU relation, we need a lot
00:46of pragmatism, better understanding, we need to strengthen our economies, especially in the big
00:51member countries. Stagnation is not a very good economic situation, and therefore I think we
00:58should use the capabilities of increasing our trade, which is mutually beneficial,
01:03and we have proven in the past that there are ways to do it.
