00:00Pouting about not getting picked by Taylor Swift, taking on the Terminator, and telling
00:04George Clooney to go back to TV.
00:07Donald Trump has gotten into word wars with countless celebrities, but there are those
00:11that seem to annoy him more than others.
00:14Taylor Swift, one of the biggest names in entertainment, famously stays out of politics
00:18for the most part.
00:19But she stepped up to declare support for Kamala Harris.
00:21Swift explained that her drive to publicly support Harris first arose when she saw Donald
00:25Trump post AI-generated images of Swift on his Truth Social page, artificially celebrating
00:31her support.
00:32She offered words of encouragement to Harris, earning the wrath of Trump and his supporters.
00:36Trump's initial response to Swift's endorsement was relatively restrained.
00:39On Fox & Friends, he played off Swift's words by comparing her to various other women.
00:44Trump voiced his preference for Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany,
00:48and Britney Spears.
00:49I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better, if you want to know the truth.
00:54She's a big Trump fan."
00:56He suggested that Taylor's liberal views would affect her music sales before taking the gloves
01:00off in a later online statement.
01:02Refusing to mince words, Trump took to Truth Social again to very presidentially state,
01:07I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT, in all caps with an exclamation point.
01:11Trump's uncomplicated vitriol against Swift led the Harris campaign to release a statement
01:16taunting him with the names of various Taylor Swift songs.
01:19Robert De Niro throws jabs at Trump practically every time he gets his hands on a microphone.
01:24He's so f-----g stupid."
01:27Whether he's at a film festival or a campaign event, De Niro hates Trump's guts and can't
01:31wait to talk about it.
01:33In May 2024, De Niro spoke in favor of Joe Biden while standing outside a New York courthouse,
01:38where Trump was being tried for falsifying business records.
01:42Trump took exception to De Niro's consistent attacks, issuing retaliations via his Truth
01:46Social account.
01:47Trump issued posts in which he called De Niro a wacko former actor, and he also claimed
01:52that De Niro represents the far left, and that his political affiliation negatively
01:56impacted his work as an actor, and even the artistic value of his films.
02:00For some unknown reason, Trump concluded the post with a reference to a Simon & Garfunkel
02:04song prominently featured in the Dustin Hoffman classic, The Graduate.
02:09Until October 2024, Rihanna spent around three years as the most financially successful musical
02:14of all time, largely thanks to her beauty brand, as well as being the face of several
02:18other brands.
02:19All that power and advertising savvy grants the 36-year-old artist a tremendous amount
02:24of influence, which is part of what irked Trump so much when she joined the long list
02:28of musicians demanding he keep their songs away from his rallies.
02:32Rihanna's music publisher won a 2018 legal battle to exclude Trump from the artist's
02:36list of acceptable political entities, which kicked off a long battle that is very much
02:41still in motion.
02:42Rihanna spray-painted a hateful message toward Trump in 2020, prompting some Republicans
02:47to insist she shouldn't be allowed to play the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
02:51Trump posted on Truth Social, stating,
02:52"...without her stylist, she'd be nothing.
02:55Bad everything.
02:56And no talent."
02:57When that halftime show finally came, Trump blasted her again, characterizing the performance
03:01as the worst in the game's history, while also dissing her stylist.
03:05Arnold Schwarzenegger will always be a larger-than-life icon for his roles in classics like The Terminator
03:10and Total Recall.
03:12The Californians might know him best as their GOP governor from 2003 to 2011.
03:16Despite his party affiliation, Schwarzenegger's relationship with Trump soured over the years.
03:20The actor famously replaced Trump on The Apprentice in 2015, shortly before he refused to support
03:26Trump's run for office.
03:27He issued statements against Trump that called for his fellow Republicans to choose their
03:30nation over their party, which evolved into a constant critique of Trump's controversial
03:35policies, earning Trump's ire.
03:37Trump additionally limited himself to attacking Schwarzenegger's performance on the new Celebrity
03:41Apprentice and the resulting ratings.
03:43He took time out of a prayer breakfast to give the show's creator some sass about replacing
03:47him with a movie star, then offered a prayer to Schwarzenegger for his ailing TV audience.
03:52Shortly thereafter, Trump took to Twitter to add additional insults to his reality show
03:56replacement, tweeting negatively about Schwarzenegger's performance on the show as well as his time
04:00as governor.
04:01Schwarzenegger went on to support the Harris campaign in 2024, and continued to maintain
04:06his distaste for the presumptive president-elect.
04:09Every time you talk about America, you're right when you say that our leadership in
04:13Washington is a little bit backwards."
04:15Longtime movie star George Clooney has never shied away from politics.
04:19Clooney was a vocal supporter and a close personal friend of former President Barack
04:22Obama, keeping the actor firmly on the left side of the political divide.
04:25Clooney's fundraising efforts for Obama earned him some general pull in the Democratic Party,
04:30which he used to ask Joe Biden to step down from the 2024 race.
04:34In July 2024, Clooney wrote an op-ed for The New York Times, practically begging Biden
04:39to throw in the towel.
04:40He was as kind as he could be as he asked Biden to quit, but that call for a new candidate
04:44enraged Trump, who took to Truth Social to accuse Clooney of stabbing Biden in the back.
04:49Trump encouraged Clooney to, quote, get out of politics and go back to television, and
04:53bizarrely claimed that movies didn't work for the actor.
04:56Oddly enough, Trump alternated between attacking Clooney and Biden.
04:59The man Clooney just encouraged to leave the race.
05:02Alec Baldwin immediately rocketed to the top of Trump's Hollywood hit list when he started
05:06his long-running role impersonating the president on Saturday Night Live.
05:10What is even a Putin?
05:12I'm running for story, you need anything?
05:15I'm good, thanks, sweetie.
05:18There was no bigger critic of Baldwin's impression than Trump himself, who regularly attacked
05:22the show, the network, and the performers as unfair political operatives.
05:26In 2021, Trump launched his most vicious attack against Baldwin, while the actor was facing
05:31the consequences of an on-set shooting that killed a director of photography.
05:35Trump capitalized on that nightmarish situation while speaking on Chris Stegall's podcast,
05:40characterizing Baldwin as an unhinged individual and distinctly implying that the actor had
05:45something to do with the shooting.
05:46He even went so far as to suggest that Baldwin loaded the prop gun.
05:50Many interpreted the statements as Trump's long-awaited revenge for the SNL impression.
05:55Meryl Streep is known for acting at the highest levels, and has a truckload of awards to prove
05:59it.
06:01In 2015, for the Academy of Film Awards, Streep received the National Medal of Arts and the
06:04Presidential Medal of Freedom from then-President Barack Obama.
06:07However, her relationship with the next president was far less cordial.
06:10In 2015, as she was taking home yet another shiny statue, this time the Lifetime Achievement
06:15Award from the Golden Globes, Streep made comments about Trump's performance on the
06:19campaign trail.
06:20Though she didn't mention his name, she critiqued his alleged impression of journalist Serge
06:24Kovalevsky and pushed back against the powerful acting as bullies.
06:28Streep tweeted his response, calling Streep, quote, "...one of the most overrated actresses
06:31in Hollywood."
06:32He accused her of unfairly attacking him without knowing him and characterized her as, quote,
06:36a Hillary Flunky who lost big, despite her delivering her comments as part of an acceptance
06:41speech.
06:43Sacha Baron Cohen has a decent reputation as an actor and a legendary reputation as
06:47an on-camera prankster.
06:48As Ali G, and later as Borat, Bruno, and several other familiar fixtures, Cohen would conduct
06:54interviews in various settings with people who don't realize they're being messed with.
06:58In 2003, Ali G roped Donald Trump into one of his comedic scenes, pitching him a fake
07:02product to see how he'd react on camera.
07:05He walked out during the filming, cutting the routine short, and later reportedly talked
07:08to The New York Times journalist Maureen Dowd, used a slur to describe Cohen, and stated,
07:13quote, "...it was a total con job."
07:14Trump would later attack Cohen for another prank.
07:17As part of Cohen's second Borat film, the film crew captured Trump ally Rudy Giuliani
07:21in a compromising position during an interview with a young lady.
07:24She's 15.
07:25She's too old for you.
07:26Why are you threatening me?
07:27She's my daughter.
07:28Please, take me instead."
07:30Voice of America White House Bureau Chief Steve Herman tweeted out Trump's response
07:34to the public release of the footage.
07:36Trump called him a, quote, phony guy, stated that he wasn't funny, and accused him of being,
07:40quote, a creep.
07:42Marshawn, Beast Mode Lynch is one of the most iconic football players in the league.
07:45Lynch temporarily retired in 2016, but he returned for several years after one season
07:50off, all while dealing with off-the-field legal issues.
07:52In 2017, he sat during the national anthem as part of a widespread protest against racism
07:57and police brutality, which saw many athletes kneeling as the anthem was played.
08:01It so happened that those protesting athletes were among Trump's favorite targets at the
08:05time.
08:06In a heated early morning tweet, Trump called Lynch out for standing for the Mexican anthem
08:09while kneeling for the American tune, considering his actions, quote, great disrespect.
08:14Trump suggested that protest actions like his were negatively affecting the NFL's ratings,
08:18and that the league should suspend him for the remainder of the season.
08:22Mark Cuban is certainly one of the richest men to have beef with Donald Trump.
08:25The Shark Tank star made $5.7 billion from the 1997 sale of Broadcast.com to Yahoo during
08:31the dot-com bubble, and as of late 2024, holds an estimated net worth of around the same
08:36amount.
08:37Cuban's history with Trump is a mixed bag.
08:39He initially shared barbs with the mogul in 2004, when they both starred on reality shows.
08:43When Trump began his run for office in 2015, Cuban supported him, but he later jumped ship
08:48in favor of the Clinton campaign in 2016.
08:51During his time in office, Trump regularly attacked Cuban, labeling him a failure and
08:55suggesting he couldn't mount a similar campaign.
08:58By 2024, Cuban was on the campaign trail for Kamala Harris, leading Trump to launch constant
09:03social media attacks.
09:04In a post on Truth Social, Trump suggested that Cuban's support for the Democratic candidate
09:08originated from Trump's unwillingness to take his calls.
09:12Ariana Huffington is known as a liberal darling, but her political alignment has shifted over
09:16the years.
09:17Huffington started her journalism career writing for The National Review, one of the more conservative
09:20voices in the medium.
09:22In 1996, she covered the election for Comedy Central, providing a right-wing voice to rival
09:27Al Franken.
09:28Huffington ran for governor of California as an Independent in 2003, but after she lost,
09:33she co-founded The Huffington Post, with Andrew Breitbart and others, to compete with a Drudge
09:38Report.
09:39Despite Huffington's conservative bona fides, Trump consistently attacked her for her liberal
09:43views.
09:44Trump hurled extremely personal attacks at Huffington as far back as 2012.
09:47He took to Twitter to state that Huffington was, quote, unattractive both inside and out,
09:51and to celebrate her former husband, openly bisexual conservative politician Michael Huffington,
09:55for divorcing her many years earlier.
09:57He followed those insults with another tweet, claiming that those who accused him of cruelty
10:02would agree with him if they knew Huffington.
10:04That post came with a threat, promising more hate to come.
10:07Trump would go on to regularly attack Huffington and her outlet, accusing it of illegitimacy
10:11and bias.
10:12Angela Merkel
10:13Angela Merkel was one of the longest-serving chancellors of Germany, leading the nation
10:16from 2005 to 2021.
10:18She was the first woman to be elected chancellor, breaking new ground before her term even began,
10:23and saw four American presidents come and go during her time in office.
10:27In 2020, CNN uncovered several classified phone calls between Trump and world leaders.
10:31He allegedly insulted Merkel's intelligence during a call, a bout of verbal abuse that
10:36reportedly fits into a trend of several other attacks on Allied leaders.
10:40CNN officials stated that Trump accused Merkel of being somehow owned by Russian interests,
10:44in one of several vicious diatribes.
10:47They even claimed that Merkel deliberately reduced the number of advisers around to hear
10:50her phone conversations with Trump, hiding their, quote, problematic contents.
10:55In more specific critiques, Trump attacked Merkel's immigration policies in a German
10:59newspaper, claiming to have respect for her while calling out her, quote, catastrophic
11:04mistake.
