00:06From Yemen, they were turned over to the government of Oman

00:14they released the hostages as part of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

00:20President Bombom Marcos was pleased

00:22with the release of the Filipinos who were under the care of our embassy in Muscat, Oman.

00:28They were allowed to return to the Philippines.

00:32The President also thanked the Omani government.

00:35On November 2023, Huri's group, the MV Galaxy Leader,

00:40spent more than a month after a fierce war between Israel and Hamas.

00:44According to the Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega,

00:49the ship was targeted because it was owned by an Israeli company.
