00:00MP Siti Masturah Muhammad has paid RM830,034.75 to three DAP leaders while waiting for his appeal to the Judiciary in the case of their slander against him.
00:17The payment was made to a law firm account representing veteran DAP Ling Kixiang, former finance minister Ling Goneng and white parliamentarian Teri Sakop in their slander against the head of parliamentarians.
00:31The payment was informed by MP Siti Masturah Yusuf Farizal Yusuf in the High Court when he asked to postpone the trial while waiting for the appeal to the Judiciary to be presented in front of Judge Kwe Chiu Soon in the room.
00:46Last year, the court ruled that Siti Masturah paid RM300,000 to Kixiang, RM250,000 to Goneng, RM200,000 to Kok and RM25,000 as court costs to each person.
01:00The High Court on 4 December found Siti Masturah guilty of slandering by linking the three leaders with the leader of the Malay Communist Party, Chin Peng, in the election.
