00:00All right, well, Antonio, it was a big year for you in 2024, a win at Le Mans, a massive
00:08year for you with Ferrari, of course, and then obviously with Settelar Racing as well.
00:13So coming in 2025, man, you got a lot of momentum here coming into the new year.
00:18Yeah, I mean, it's always nice to be back, especially after a bit of break, because I
00:23think at the end of the year, everyone needs a bit of a break to charge a bit of battery.
00:27So happy to be back, ready, so can't wait to start this season.
00:33As you said, last year was, I think, one of the best seasons so far for me, winning Le
00:39Mans, finishing second in the WEC and also scoring a podium with Settelar here in Sibling.
00:45I think overall it was a positive season and now, yeah, I mean, it's a new year and we
00:50try to do better than last year.
00:53Yeah, how exciting was that, getting that Le Mans win last year?
00:56Obviously, your sister car got the win the year prior and then getting the chance to
01:01win last year's Le Mans race.
01:03I mean, it seems like Ferrari, you guys have found your rhythm, if you will, Le Mans in
01:09the last couple of years.
01:10Yeah, I mean, I think especially last year, the race was really a rollercoaster, especially
01:15at the end with the issue on the door, but overall, I mean, I think we achieved something
01:23really incredible in these two years.
01:26Again, Le Mans, I think, is one of the best races in the world and winning two years in
01:30a row, especially for Ferrari, is something that will remain in the books for a long time
01:35and I'm really proud and happy to be part of this family, of this programme and, yeah,
01:43we know that it's going to be tough this year, but as always, we go there and we try to win
01:48again.
01:48Yeah, absolutely, and looking at GTD this year, you know, the brand new torque sensors
01:52are being implemented here upcoming this season, so talk about how that's going to be kind
01:56of a learning process, if you will, adding the torque sensors in for 2025.
01:59I mean, I think it's a good step forward because looking a bit in the past, it was
02:04a bit tricky to manage, but I think introducing these new rules, for sure, it will be a benefit
02:10for everyone and I think and I hope that the race will be more spectacular for the
02:15fans.
02:16Seeing in the GTD class and especially in GT3 racing, the last couple of years at Daytona,
02:20we've seen really impressive numbers from Ferrari and from the brand with multiple cars
02:26entered into the race, so being able to represent Ferrari and being able to see the amount of
02:32that brand on the grid, how exciting is it to kind of be a part of this, like, growth
02:36that we're seeing with the brand?
02:37Yeah, I mean, I think especially this is the first year where we have eight 296 in the
02:43grid, which I think is quite nice to see and as I said, being part of this family, of this
02:49group, is something really, really nice as a driver and all the projects that we started
02:54a couple of years ago, they're growing up really, really well and I really hope that
02:59it's going to be a good year for Ferrari and GT and also in the WC and the hypercar.
03:04You've raced in many 24-hour races over your career and every race is obviously different,
03:08but when you race in these style of races and you get to understand it, what are things
03:14you're able to take away from races such as 24-hour races that you can kind of use, you
03:19know, in just kind of understanding how they run and what are you kind of able to take
03:23away from your 24-hour experience?
03:25I mean, I think during the year we do three 24-hours because we do Daytona, Spa and Le Mans,
03:32I think all three of them are really different because I think especially here in the US,
03:38you are in the race until the last 20 minutes of the race and this I think is really spectacular
03:43for everyone, I mean, you always know that you have a chance until the last 20 minutes,
03:46so this is really nice, while on another 24 hours like Le Mans, everything is a bit more
03:53calm at the beginning, but also there it's quite nice, I mean, they're a bit different,
03:59you use a bit different approach to this race even with Spa, but every time you have
04:06something to learn, every year you have something to learn and I think you grow up with experience
04:10and then when you go back the year after you try to improve what you ran the year before.
04:17Podium finished last year at Sebring with the team, you know, you guys ran very well,
04:22you guys were up towards, you know, the top part of the grid at times, so how do you use
04:27that momentum heading in here to 2025? It does seem like you guys are trending upwards here going
04:31into the year. I mean, I think last year was a really good step forward to the season and I
04:37really hope that this year we will be able to score a podium here with Settler because during
04:43the past year every time we went very close and something happened always on the real last part
04:49of the race, so I really hope that this is going to be our year because all the team and all the
04:54guys deserve the results, so I will do my best to bring the car back and hop on the podium.
05:00I love it. Antonio, good luck this week and next week, hopefully you guys are able to perform well
05:04and hopefully bring home a nice Rolex watch by the end of it. I hope so, I have one from Le Mans.
