00:00A few days ago, the Umanoy government issued a law banning the impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:09Mela Lesmora is live in the center of the news.

00:23on behalf of the House Majority Bloc.

00:25They denied that they are banning the impeachment.

00:29House Deputy Majority Leader Paulo Ortega denied that there are still two weeks before the new session break of the camera

00:37that's why there are still a lot of things that can happen.

00:39He denied that on the question of the media, if the impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte will still be issued

00:47or if it will be added.

00:49The Makabayan Bloc insisted that the administration is banning it.

00:54Ortega said that there is no banning that is happening

00:57and no matter what resolution they will not ban it because it is part of the legislative process.

01:05In an interview, House Deputy Minority Leader Franz Castro said that he is already doubting

01:11if there will be a fourth impeachment complaint against the Vice President.

01:15He is still waiting for it, that's why he is not banning the other complaints.

01:19Katie Castro should be able to transmit the complaints to the House Speaker's Office as soon as possible.

01:27It would be better if there is a fourth complaint so that it will be easier.

01:32But I don't see any signal from our colleagues here in the House of Representatives.

01:40Even if you ask them, they don't know anything.

01:43So if there will be no fourth complaint, it should be acted on.

01:49It's not true that the President blocked it.

01:54But for the President, after hours, he said that it is not accepted that there will be an impeachment.

02:03That is the President's statement.

02:05But again, as I said, we still have two weeks, so a lot can happen.

02:10No matter who will have an impeachment or whatever bill it is, it will not be blocked.

02:17Because it is a legislative exercise.
