00:22The administration of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. has continued to increase its economic performance last year

00:27in front of the statement of President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. that he is content with the economic achievements of the administration in 2024.

00:35In the 24th NEDA board meeting in Malacanang, National Economic Development Authority Secretary Arsenio Balisaca stated that

00:42for 2025, the target of the government is to increase the gross domestic product of 6% to 8% higher than the 6% to 6.5% target of GDP growth last year.

00:56On the other hand, the government will reach the 2% to 4% inflation rate while the poverty rate will strive to reach 13.2% this year and 9% in 2028.

01:09This is in line with what Balisaca said that the NEDA will continue to implement social economic transformation

01:15by strengthening economic productivity, the use of new technology and collaboration with various stakeholders.

01:23The NEDA will also assist the Congress in development priorities, supporting fiscal programs and institutionalizing regular monitoring,

01:33evaluation and integration in budgeting, planning and investment programming.

01:38President Marquez also said that there needs to be a consolidated reporting on the efforts of the government to ensure security in food.

01:49This is important, said President Marquez, to clarify to the people how this will benefit the Filipino family,

01:56why this is important to them and how this will improve the quality of life.
