00:00Was Tuesday as good as the teams felt, just on the pitch, in total control, or dominant first half really?
00:06Yeah, sort of. I think we had a few games this season where we performed like that.
00:12Like I said, like a few other games earlier on, so it wasn't really...
00:19It didn't feel different to many other games.
00:24I think the main part is we scored early on, so we could somewhat live with ourselves, not scoring on the chances afterwards.
00:33But I think we had played a good handful of games where we really felt we'd been on top.
00:41Tuesday we just capitalised and got the win.
00:45And even in the end, even though they won the ball, they didn't really produce much.
00:49I think it was a good goal.
00:51But apart from that, we stayed in our lines and compact together, worked as a team and didn't really give them anything.
00:58So, all in all, it was good from start to finish.
01:02The main point is when we do that, we need the free points like we did on Tuesday.
01:06How key is it for you to be touching the ball quite regularly?
01:09Because you don't want to be drifting and not having a touch for five minutes.
01:12You're constantly passing and touching it.
01:15Of course, I enjoy being on the ball more than not being on it.
01:19I think as a midfielder, all my life I'm used to getting on the ball all the time.
01:26If you're not on the ball, you sort of feel like a spectator, even though you're in the game.
01:33It means the world that I can actually get on the ball and get a few passes and touches.
01:38We can find each other, which we did really well again.
01:41Hopefully, we just do that every game.
01:44The manager just mentioned maybe looking for the pass before the assist.
01:48Do you have good chats with him about how you can improve yourself?
01:52Is that a good relationship?
01:53Yeah, I think sometimes he thinks I'm a bit too greedy.
01:58That I want the assist and not the hockey assist.
02:03But I think also for some of the players, now Jadon has come in and also Kiss was new in the summer.
02:10Knowing that I really enjoy playing through balls,
02:15so getting the runs in behind either for a shot or for them to cross it,
02:19like against Hull where we scored.
02:23I think we need to get both out of it.
02:27I need to play it for them to get an assist.
02:29Sometimes they need to run to actually get a shot and goal instead of thinking they need the assist.
02:35But yeah, I think we're in a good spot.
02:38Everybody's working hard, running for each other.
02:41The gaffer has loads of things to say to me, so that's part of it.
02:46You mentioned being more pacey.
02:47Is that something you've thought to improve or has it just naturally come?
02:51No, I think I've always been sneaky.
02:54I think people from outside doesn't really rate the speed of my legs.
03:01But I've always been fast and stuff.
03:04I think just now, after a year and a half, this is just the normal speed of the game now for me.
03:10I'm used to everything over here.
03:12Just having that second wind in the second half, still going forward, still running past defenders and not getting tired.
03:19I've enjoyed that part of it this season compared to the first season,
03:24where after one sprint I felt a bit more tired.
03:27It's just being more on top of the game and feeling more sharp.
03:32What are your thoughts on the rest of this season?
03:34Just do as well as you can as a team and then you go into the summer.
03:37Yeah, of course.
03:39You want to do as best as you can as a team and hopefully get as many wins as possible and see where it takes us.
03:47The way we performed this season, as I said, we should have had a few more wins.
03:52I think it wouldn't be unfair to say that if we won the games,
03:58we'd probably at least just be in the front with a few goals or get a goal disallowed for a non-offside.
04:04We'll be near the player spots, if not in the play-off at the minute.
04:10It's just aiming high and going about our business and being consistent,
04:15especially against a team that goes a bit more direct and keep getting wins.
04:20I know you said you don't care, but you've touched on what other people say a few times.
04:24Does it naturally find you on your phone or do you just try and block it out?
04:28No, I don't really look at it, to be fair.
04:31I know where to find it, but I don't really look for it.
04:36It doesn't really show up, like everything else in life.
04:38If you don't want to see it, it's easy to look the other way.
04:41Just away from footy, you've been in England for about a year and a half now.
04:44Do you mind it? Not too keen or do you like it?
04:47No, it's alright. It's a bit grey, but that's just like that, isn't it?
04:54It's all good over here. I enjoy Manchester, I enjoy my life with my missus over here.
04:59It's a good club, a good dressing room, so it's tough to really be too annoyed about anything except the weather.
05:06Have you ventured away from Manchester much?
05:08Yes, we've been trying to go on a few day trips and travel around a few countrysides and stuff like that.
05:18I think for me, playing football abroad is also about the experience and seeing different parts of the world.
05:25Going about and seeing the small villages around is good fun.
