00:00The implementation of security in the province of Sultan Kudarat is even more important.

00:05With the help of technology, artificial intelligence can be used in border checkpoints.

00:18The government of Sultan Kudarat is now using new technology to strengthen security in border checkpoints.

00:28With the help of AI tools such as facial recognition and lights and split readers,

00:32the implementation of peace and security against crime and illegal activities in the province is even more important.

00:39It is my vision that it will become one of the leading and model checkpoints in the entire country

00:45equipped with facial recognition, plate number recognition,

00:49equipped with other softwares that will enhance security of those who come in and come out of the province of Sultan Kudarat.

00:57The Aguila Watch project was started in July 2024 in 5 pilot locations.

01:03These modern facilities were placed in key strategic areas

01:08so that the monitoring of movement of people and vehicles will be stronger

01:13and it will give immediate action to possible threats.

01:17Aside from the new technology, these checkpoints have comfortable facilities

01:22such as air-conditioned offices, clean bathrooms and restrooms.

01:27Although the facilities are high-tech,

01:29the DEA gave officials who are still important the training of the police who are monitoring here.

01:35Aside from the facilities and equipment that we have installed,

01:39the police who monitor the checkpoints are also trained.

01:43Because part of this project of the facilities is the training of our personnel,

01:48the know-how and for the respect of the human rights of our countrymen.

01:54The government of the province and the PNP plans to expand the project to all provincial borders

02:00including the coastal towns of Libak, Calamansig, and Palimbang.
