00:00Filipino wakeboarder Rafael Trinidad rules the recently concluded IWWF Asia and Oceania Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate Championships held in Angeles City, Pampanga.

00:17The hometown hero Rafael Trinidad waved the Philippine flag after clinching the gold medal in the men's open wakeboard intercontinental competition.
00:27Trinidad impressed the judges on his very first run with his heelside frontside 900 signature move, scarecrow to frontlift, and KGB.
00:37Meanwhile, the finishing trick of the former world number two cable wakeboarder was also smooth as he unleashed a toeside backside 720 and scored 81.67.
00:50Stanislav Fidelski from Kyrgyzstan tried to catch up but crashed out in his second run which allowed the SEA Games silver medalist to secure the win.
01:20In the women's open wakeboard, the youngest Finong from Thailand, Rabim Kipat Sawady shone brightly in the competition and proved that champions come in all shapes and sizes.
01:44In the women's open wakeskate, Ailadon Diago from Tim Philippines also claimed the silver medal.
01:51It feels really amazing to be representing the Philippines and I just want everybody to know that anything you set your mind to, you can definitely do.
01:59A total of 85 world-class athletes from different countries participated in the three-day competition.
