The Prince and Princess of Wales met survivors of the Holocaust in London and took a 'family photo' with them to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. The royal couple are attending a service in London as part of the commemoration. In 2020, William and Kate paid their respects by attending a service marking the 75th anniversary, while Kate took pictures with survivors at Kensington Palace. Report by Faragt. 00:00Welcome. I'm Laura Martz, I chair the Holocaust Memorial Trust, but we're going to try and do something really special.
00:07We're going to try and take a photograph. There's about 50 survivors of the Holocaust in this room,
00:13which is probably more than is needed anywhere else in the world today.
00:17And the Royal Primacies and the Prime Minister have agreed to have a photo with you,
00:21which is very special, but it's going to require some logistics.
00:26So, if you are, only if you are...
00:29We've got to go further than this.
00:32We've got to go back, guys.
00:35Can we go back, Bee? Seriously.
00:57That's it, that's it.
01:01Okay. Lovely. Thank you. Just towards me.
01:10Perfect. Thank you very much. Thank you.
01:17Thank you, sir.
01:48I need three staff members to fill this gap here for now.
