00:00The Department of Agriculture is encouraging the public to report those who sell overpriced rice to the market.

00:11Here's what you can do according to the government.

00:14Get a picture of the rice that sells overpriced rice.

00:18Post it or send it to the official social media pages of the DA.

00:22Also use the hashtag DABantayPreso.

00:26The DA also warns those who discovered the wrong labeling of the rice they sell

00:31so that it can be priced at a higher price.

00:34To address this, the Department of Trade and Industry is now cooperating with the DA

00:41to implement the Unified Labeling Guidelines for rice.

00:47You can see the type of rice, the place where it was harvested,

00:52the price of processing the rice, and the percentage of damage.

00:56According to the latest monitoring of the DA,

00:58the price of local rice in Metro Manila ranges from Php 37 to Php 63 per kilo.
