Australia has recorded its worst annual road death toll result since 2012 yet not a single jurisdiction is on track to meet the national road safety strategy target of halving road deaths by 2030. The Australasian College of Road Safety is calling on politicians to make road safety a federal election priority.

00:46And we are nowhere near meeting that target.
00:48You can't increase for four years in a row and hope to be on track.
00:53So we've really got to do something differently.
