Petecio eyes Olympic gold in 2028 Los Angeles Games

Nesthy Petecio, the first Filipino boxer to snare medals in back-to-back Olympic editions, remains in the hunt for the elusive gold as he prepares to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Games. For his bronze medal at the Paris Olympics last year, Petecio received the President's Award at the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Awards Night at the Manila Hotel grand ballroom on Jan. 27, 2025.
