This week, on 'All Wednesday' we caught up with local musician - and Sheffield Wednesday fan - Ed Cosens, to talk about his love with for the Owls... It includes a hair-raising trip from SoccerAM for a huge game, some retro shirt talk, and what it was like hearing his own music at Hillsborough for the first time.

00:00It's funny, no one seems to have a first memory of Wednesday winning.
00:05Every single person you speak to, it's literally just like everyone at the club
00:11has for decades just gone, we'll set you up properly, like your first game, we'll make
00:16sure we lose that one. There must be people out there that win the first game but I've never met
00:20one. With that, your late 80s, it was a pretty good time for Sheffield Wednesday that wasn't it?
00:31Well yeah, obviously coming out of the 80s we were on the up a little bit and
00:36I guess you obviously have the 91, Rumblers Cup and everything which I remember watching
00:42on telly and weirdly a lot of my friends at school, they were all Man United supporters
00:47at that point. I think they were just kind of obviously glory hunting but I was staying true
00:51to myself and supporting Wednesday and you know everyone expected United to win didn't they and
00:57we did it. So it was amazing, the old famous dink and everything.
01:01I think at the time everyone thought yeah and this is the start of
01:05something amazing and it kind of was for a bit. Obviously moving into the 90s and then once
01:11sort of Waddle signed and all that, it was magical for a bit but obviously
01:16this is Wednesday we're talking about.
