00:16A few hours after the fire in Chinese New Year,

00:20a part of a condominium in Binondo, Manila was burned at 3 o'clock in the early morning.

00:26Two households were trapped in a room in the 35th floor.

00:32According to the owner, the man was outside when the fire broke out.

00:39Maybe he panicked and didn't know what to do.

00:48The owner of the unit immediately asked for help from the firemen

00:52so his two children were immediately released.

00:55But unfortunately, the victims were not on the floor inside the maid's quarter.

01:00According to the residents of the condominium, they were sleeping in front of the fire.

01:05We just woke up in the basement of our door.

01:09When we opened the door, the smoke was already in the hallway.

01:14That's why we were alarmed. We also ran outside.

01:17According to the Bureau of Fire Protection,

01:20the fire reached the first alarm that lasted for more than an hour before it was extinguished at 5 o'clock in the morning.

01:27The fire was immediately contained so it did not spread to the adjacent units.

01:31Residents were immediately returned to their rooms after the BFP secured the area.
